What information do we collect?
When you register on our website or fill out a form we will collect information from you. You may be asked to enter your name, email address, postal address, phone number, company and position as well as your current and/or expectations of future foreign exchange use. Whilst you may visit our website anonymously it may not be possible for us to perform the required activities and functions without this information. We may, in this instance, ask for additional information (outlined above) and if this information is not forthcoming we may be unable to provide the services required and you may be prevented from accessing or using our services.
What do we use your information for?
We collect personal information where it is reasonably necessary for us to undertake our function and activities. Any of the information that we collect from you may be used in various ways to enable us to fulfil our service. We may send periodic emails to the addresses that you have specified to respond to enquiries, send you relevant and appropriate information and marketing material as well as to answer your questions and other requests. If you do not wish to receive such information (other than what we are required to send by law) from us please advise us and we will remove the specified addresses from our distribution list.
We may need to forward some of your information to other companies to enable your request to be fulfilled. This would include foreign exchange providers when we are helping to process your enquiries in regard to foreign exchange services. We may also use your information to help us improve our service and website and also to personalise your experience with us.

We do not generally collect any sensitive information as referred to in privacy legislation. This includes racial and ethnic information, political affiliations, religion, union membership, sexual preferences, criminal record, state of health or medical history. The only sensitive information collected will be that which is required by law or with your consent when that information is reasonably necessary or related to our services. Any sensitive information held by us will only be used and disclosed by us for the purpose for which it was collected. If sensitive information is required we will explain the purpose for it.
Will we disclose any information to other entities?
We will not sell, trade or transfer your personally identifiable information to other entities outside FX Select except to trusted outside entities who assist us to conduct our business and/or service you and that they agree to keep this information confidential. Where legally obliged to do so we may also release this information. Information that is not personally identifiable may, however be provided to other entities for marketing and other uses. To assist us to service you we may from time to time need to release your personal information to overseas entities and you consent to this disclosure. Please note that overseas laws may not provide similar privacy protections as to those in Australia and New Zealand.

You may request access to the personal information held by FX Select and we will action these requests within an appropriate period of time. We will endeavour to ensure that the personal information held is up to date and accurate and request that you notify us if the details change.
